Sims 3 ambitions for ipod touch?

I'm playing this game, and on my 2 different people, it won't let me get to my baby, right after the baby comes into the house. Like, it says "action failed". Cause theres like something in the way or something. I've tried moving everything out of the room, but it still says that things are in the way.
